About Underhill Animal Hospital

At Underhill Animal Hospital, we believe that pets are family. Since 1957, we have been committed to providing exceptional veterinary care to pets and their owners in Orlando, FL, and surrounding areas. As one of the longest-established veterinary hospitals in Central Florida, we have proudly served generations of pet families with expertise, compassion, and cutting-edge medical advancements.

A Legacy of Excellence in Veterinary Care

Founded by Dr. Horace E. Caton, Underhill Animal Hospital was the fourth animal hospital to open in Central Florida. What started as a modest 1,500 sq. ft. facility has grown into an 8,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art hospital, completed in 2002. Over the decades, we have continued to evolve, staying at the forefront of veterinary medicine with the latest technologies in examination, diagnostics, and treatment.

Despite our growth, our philosophy has remained the same: prioritizing your pet’s quality of life. We are dedicated to fostering strong, healthy relationships between pets and their families by providing the highest standard of care, from preventative wellness to advanced treatments.

Our Commitment to Your Pet’s Health

We go beyond routine veterinary care. Our highly skilled veterinarians and experienced veterinary technicians bring years of education and training to ensure your pet receives personalized, compassionate care.

We combine our deep knowledge of preventative medicine, proper nutrition, and cutting-edge disease treatment with a genuine love for the animals we care for. This approach strengthens the bond between you, your pet, and our team, creating a partnership centered around your pet’s lifelong health and well-being.

Involvement in the Orlando Community

As an integral part of the Orlando, FL community, we take great pride in serving more than just family pets. Underhill Animal Hospital provides veterinary care for 22 city, state, and government agencies, including the Orlando Police Department, Orange County and Seminole County Sheriff’s Offices, UCF Police Department, and the Department of Homeland Security. Our commitment to these working canines reflects our dedication to excellence and trust within our community.

We believe that giving back to the community strengthens the human-animal bond and enhances the well-being of pets across Central Florida.
